This is my family, my beautiful daughters, lovingly nicknamed in the blog as Ariel, 9, gotta love the red hair, and Belle, 6, see the mischief in her eyes? And my amazing husband of 13 years. I'm a lucky girl to get to live with my best friend.
Starting out my life journey, I never thought that I'd end up as a stay at home homeschooling mom, but here I am! Some days finishing a sentence or even a thought is a feat in itself and I long for the days where it is quiet again. But when I have the rare opportunity to have a quiet day alone, I'm really not sure what to do with myself and I find myself counting down the minutes until the chaos begins again. We live out in the countryside in New England, it's very quiet and peaceful, nothing really exciting happens, but I enjoy it that way. Living with a State Trooper brings all the excitement that I need. Hubby is also in the Army Reserve and the Army has provided many adventures for us, like conferences that I am able to attend with him to a year deployment in Iraq. God has blessed us with His grace and mercy in all of those things.
I don't intend for this blog to be anything but a reflection on our day to day lives. I have always liked the idea of journaling, but have never done it, so this in my journal. Those moments that I never want to forget will be put here. Thanks for reading and I hope that there may be something that everyone can relate to.
